This place it's a small Oasis not to far from Manchester or Concord. It is specially nice when you go on non holiday days. You can expect bigger rowdier crowds on holidays or weekends. You can rent kayaks or canoes, you can fish, you can swim and hike and you can relax.
Excellent multi use park. Good trails for casual, scenic mtn biking. Nice picnic spots with beach frontage.
This is our new favorite place. Even when it's busy it's not super crowded.
Very layed back. Water was great. I would ake a day of it and bring the kyack.
Nice park. Beach kind of pebbly and weedy, with a slant, but clean. Lots of benches and picnic tables. A few stationary grills. Some secluded picnic areas on the opposite side of the road. Water clean, buoy marked area. Some directional issues depending on which version of mapquest, maps, or gps used to get there. An outdated version of maps took my son down a dirt access road at the back of the park, that didn't go to the public areas.. 3 miles later, he had turned around... Low entry fees, plenty of parking.
